WHAT IS A COOKIE

Cookies are strings of text that websites visited by users (so-called publishers, or “first parties” and, in this case, the Site) or different sites or web servers (so-called “third parties”) place and store within the user’s own terminal device, so that they are then transmitted back to the same sites on the next visit.

The terminals referred to are, for example, a computer, tablet, smartphone, or any other device capable of storing information.

• profiling cookies, used to trace back to specific, identified or identifiable subjects specific actions or recurring behavioral patterns in the use of the offered functionalities (pattern) in order to group the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different width, so that it is also possible for the owner, among other things, to modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalized manner beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as to send targeted advertising messages, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of web browsing.

COOKIES ON THE SITE AND THEIR PURPOSES

There are first-party cookies on the Site, installed by Busatti, and third-party cookies, as further detailed below.

First-party cookies (from Busatti)

First-party cookies are those installed by Busatti. 

Their purposes are:

• Technical: these cookies are used for purposes directly related to the provision of Site services and to enable or improve navigation on the Site or store searches made by the user. 

These cookies are indispensable and necessary for the Site to function properly.

• Analytics: in order to collect statistical information about the use of the service by users (for example: number of visitors, pages visited, etc.). We use these cookies to analyze traffic on our pages anonymously, but without storing personal data.

Third-party cookies 

Third-party cookies are installed by parties other than Busatti and their purposes are:

• Of performance: through these cookies it is possible to develop and implement the service, improving your browsing experience and therefore the enjoyment of it.

Third party: Hotjar 

• Of profiling and, in particular

• Personalized advertising: through these cookies we show you advertisements according to your preferences, habits or consumption choices
• marketing: we analyze your online actions so that we can provide you, through third-party partners, with content and commercial offers in line with your interests also based on your previous browsing. This information is handled separately from the identifying data held by Busatti.

Third parties: e.g. Amazon

• In addition, cookies designed for so-called “social networks” may be activated. They allow the user to interact via social networks (e.g., through Facebook’s “share” function). When a page contains this command, a direct link is established with the selected social network.

The use of these Third Party technologies is governed by the privacy policies of those companies and not by Busatti’s privacy policy.

So-called session cookies remain active only until you close your browser or log out, if any. 

Other cookies (so-called persistent cookies), on the other hand, persist when the browser is closed and are also available on subsequent visits to the Site by the user, and their duration is set by the server when they are created. 

Sometimes a specific deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited. The table below has all the details.

COOKIES AND CONSENT

The user’s consent to the use of cookies is not always necessary, but depends on the purposes for which the cookies are used and, therefore, whether they are “technical” or “profiling” cookies.
